Guwahati police conducted a series of raids against drug trafficking and arrested 4 accused at Gandhi Basti and Kharghuli area.
Based on source information, Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) SOG & Paltanbazar PS recovered 230 empty vials, and 5 packets of suspected Heroin weighing about 5 grams packed in plastic soap cases were recovered and along with 42 mobile phones.
The accused were identified as – Ronak Pratim Mazumdar (37), Selim Ahmed (38), Idrish Ali (30), Sushil Boro (52).
Further investigation is underway to determine the linkages.
