Guwahati Police on Saturday conducted a series of raids against drug trafficking and arrested 2 accused.
Based on source information, Noonmati police recovered 19 vials and 1.25gm of suspected heroin and cash Rs 54,000 from their possession.
The accused were identified as Muzammil Hussain and Rekibur Rahman. While Muzammil was arrested from Masjid Path, Rekibur was arrested from Bishnu Rabha Nagar.
Based on their confession, another drug peddler was arrested from Satgaon, Bahortol. He has been identified as Rakibul Ali.
