All restaurants in Guwahati likely to shut down for 2 days, due to the violent conflicts that took place in Hotel Palacio in the city when a group of drunken men beats up a hotel staff brutally.
Last week, a group of men entered the hotel at Hotel Palacio and beaten up the hotel chief brutally for delaying the delivery of the ordered food.
Reportedly, the news of the two days’ closure has been announced by the All Assam Hospitality Workers’ Association (AAHWA).
Therefore, a case was registered at Dispur Police Station but no serious attention was said to be given by the police authorities on the matter so far.
