Guwahati: In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and after numerous complaints from students regarding Gauhati University’s decision to conduct offline examinations for final semester students, the University on Tuesday decided to move ahead with both online and offline examinations.
A notification issued by the registrar of GU stated that the Postgraduate (PG) Final Examinations of Gauhati University for the year 2020, which is to start from September 2020, will be held in the Online Mode. The Undergraduate (UG) Examinations will be held both in the online and offline mode.
The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) regarding the conduction of the new mode of examination is expected to be published by the controller of examinations soon.
