A joint team comprising of West-Guwahati police and Crime Branch recovered heroin at the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) in Guwahati on Tuesday evening. The procedure of seizure is still going on.
One person namely Sahabuddin Kazi, 46 yrs hailing from Kazirgram of Badarpur in the Cachar district has been detained and interrogation is on.
The consignment was being carried from Badarpur to Ghy in the bus bearing registration number As10C 6456.
