Marwari hospitals on Friday organized a free health check-up camp at the K.R.B. Girls’ College, Fatasil, Guwahati in association with the Lions Club of Guwahati Global.
Dr N.N.Sarma and Dr Nekib Ahmead, senior doctors from Marwari Hospitals consulted the patients. The camp ended with 135 beneficiaries. Most of the patients which were mainly residents of Fatasil were suffering from fever, cough, body and joint pain, headache, stomach-ache and sugar problem etc.
Free medicines, free diabetic screening, free blood pressure check-up, free doctor consultation and free weight check-up were the main highlights of the free camp.
Health camps always spread a positive impact in society regarding their general health condition and hygiene. The hospital’s small effort to reach the society may help the greater side of society to become more conscious and aware of the diseases and take the precaution of their health.
It should be noteworthy to mention that this is the second free health camp after the pandemic period and lockdown. Marwari Hospitals aims to organise more and more free health camps in the near future in different areas of the State to help needy patients with free medicine and free treatment.
Also, it should be noted that during the free health camp on Friday, doctors also counselled the beneficiaries regarding the precautions of Covid 19.
