In view of the horrors of drugs, the Assam Police has been relentlessly conducting anti-drug operations in different parts of the state. On Saturday, Kamrup Police has caused a huge blow in the organized drug syndicate cartel.
Acting on a piece of specified information, Kamrup Police officials organized a huge operation against the drug cartel. During the operation, the police recovered a huge cache of illegal tablets and Brown Sugar.
The recovered items are –
• One lakh illegal tablets.
• Two kilograms Brown Sugar
The market price of the recovered contraband has been estimated to be around Rs. Two crores.
Taking to Twitter, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed about the huge success of Assam Police against organized drug cartel.
