Over a decade during Tarun Gogoi’s tenure as Assam chief minister—Koinadhora—will now be a new resident of Assam Governor Professor Jagdish Mukhi. Reconstruction and repair works are in full swing at the Koinadhora premises.
The governor house is under maintenance and reconstruction, and so, Prof Mukhi will shift to Koinadhora for a few months.
A new look is being given to the iconic Koinadhora with painting and civil jobs. All the interiors are being freshly done at a war footing as the deadline for handover is 15 June.
