Assam lost another noble leader and litterateur due to Covid 19. Famous writer Rohini Kumar Barua lost his life to Covid 19 on Tuesday night.
A famous author, Rohini Kumar made a huge contribution to the welfare of Assamese society.
He also served Assam as an honored IAS officer. He was also a prolific writer and has many books to his name.
Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed his grief and condolence towards the family of the noted writer. The CM offers his prayers for the writer’s soul to rest in peace.
Taking to Twitter, Chief Minister Office, Assam wrote –
“Chief Minister Sharma condoles the passing away of eminent writer and retired Indian Administrative Service officer Dr. Rohini Kumar Barua.
He expresses deep condolence to the bereaved families seeking eternal peace of his departed soul.”
