News Desk: In view of the detection of COVID-19 positive patient at Raj Bhavan Campus in Guwahati City under Kameup Metropolitan District, in the interest of maintenance of public hygiene and to prevent further spread of COVID-19 virus in the said area, the area with following boundary description is declared as a CONTAINMENT ZONE and the Circle Officer, Guwahati Revenue Circle ts directed to seal the area immediately.
Any unauthorized entry and exit into the notified CONTAINMENT ZONE are barred till the area is declared safe as per the guidelines of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, GOL.
Any movement of any unauthorized individual and vehicle within the notified area is also prohibited with immediate effect.
All statutory and other directions regarding maintenance of social distancing will be strictly
enforced in the sealed area.
This order is made under the regulations “The Assam COVID-19 Regulations, 2020” and shall be
effective from 01-00 pm on 04/07/2020 until further order.
Any violation of this order will attract action under the provisions of “The COVID-19 Regulations, 2020″, “The Disaster Management Act 2005″, The Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 and other relevant laws of the nation.

North: Hotel Belle View
South: Bonkonwar Nagar
East: Borthakur Clinic
West: MG Road, Guwahati.
