The Home Department has issued orders to remove the nameplates sponsored by police stations. This order has been issued to many police stations in Guwahati. The government’s effort is to make the police department unbiased.
According to the sources the message has given to all the police stations through WhatsApp messages and Department has given a time limit of 24 hours to remove all the sponsored nameplates.
