Tarun Gogoi’s Mortal Remains Taken to his Official Residence in Dispur

Former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi’s mortal remains was moved from Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) to his official residence in Dispur.

The body of the former Chief Minister of the state will be kept at his official residence, Dispur for his family and relatives to pay their last respect and after that, it will be taken to Janata Bhawan followed by Rajiv Bhawan.

The body has been moved from GMCH in a van decorated with tons of flowers.

The mortal remains of the departed leader will be taken to Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra for public viewing at around 4 pm and will remain there until the morning of November 26.

His final journey will take him to a church, temple, and mosque, after which he will be cremated with full state honors.
