World Cities Day represent ‘Let’s Get Involved 1.0’ an interactive workshop to make Guwahati Awesome by 2030

Guwahatians get ready to participate in ‘Let’s Get Involved 1.0,’ an interactive workshop led by and for citizens to discuss, brainstorm, and find solutions to Guwahati’s biggest urban concerns.

GAMOF (Green and Active Mobility Forum), a Guwahati-based social enterprise and civil society group, has taken the initiative to arrange an interactive and engaging workshop called Let’s Get Involved on October 30 2022, i.e., Sunday at the Vinyl Cafe, Sundarpur, RG Baruah road where the city’s primary challenges will be explored and answers sought. The programme will start at 1 pm.

They are calling Guwahati residents who are interested, conscientious, and energetic to participate in the first edition of Let’s Get Involved (workshop) – to make Guwahati an ideal city by 2030.

The workshop will be an initiative to discuss, ideate and find solutions to Guwahati’s major problems interestingly and engagingly. After that, they will submit the solutions to the concerned authorities for their action (problems like Flash Floods, Traffic congestion, waste management, water supply, etc.).

There is a registration cost of Rs.399/-and an early bird discount of Rs.299/- until October 22, 2022. Refreshments, participant kits, and activity materials are included in the cost. In due course, GAMOF aims to arrange similar workshops concentrating on certain concerns. The first edition of the workshop will be held on October 30, 2022, to recognise World Cities Day, which is observed on October 31 each year.
