“We have received the proposal of ‘Mission 100 bedded’ two months back from star cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s cancer foundation- ‘YouWeCan’” AMCH Principal cum Chief Superintendent Sanjeeb Kakati said.
To know about the donation of 100 beds to AMCH by former Indian Cricketer Yuvraj Singh, Headline 8 contacted AMCH Principal cum Chief Superintendent Sanjeeb Kakati.
Talking to Headline8 over telephonic conservation, Sanjeeb Kakati informed, “Due to some technical issues, we were not able to continue on this. But recently we got the proposal letter and after discussion with the State Government we are looking forward to work on this proposal.”
Meanwhile, there is no such information provided in Yuvraj Singh’s social media accounts and on his cancer care foundation website.
However, on the ‘YouWeCan’ website Headline 8, has found information about the details of his project of providing 1000 beds ‘Mission1000beds’ as Covid Relief of his foundation. But there is no such information about providing 100 beds to Assam Medical College and Hospital.
He also informed, “The Foundation will provide 50 beds in the first installment. Out of the 100 beds in the pediatric ICU, 20 will be full-fledged ventilation units, and 80 Oxygen generated beds will be set up at the children’s ward of AMCH.”
To know the authenticity of the news, Headline8 has mailed to the ‘YouWeCan’ foundation on the proposal of ‘Mission100’ bedded.
