Assam Health Minister Keshab Mahanta on Saturday attended a Covid 19 review meeting at Kamrup Metro DC office.
The meeting was also attended by Kamrup Metro DC Biswajit Pegu, Joint Commissioner of Police Debraj Upadhayay, Dy Secretary of Health Kamaljit Talukdar, Director of Medical Education Anup Kumar Barman, and Health & District Administration Officials.
Few key points of the Covid 19 review meeting are –
• Keshab Mahanta emphasized the 3Ts
1. Testing.
2. Tracing.
3. Treatment.
• Strict implementation of curfew.
• To spread awareness among people in Kamrup Metro.
• The state Health Minister also took stock of the containment zones and the patient’s health condition.
• He informed that beds for Covid 19 patients are ready at Sarusajai and Royal Global.
• The minister also informed that there are still 1090 beds vacant in Guwahati.
• A total of 1083 people are in home isolation in Kamrup Metro.
• The number of Covid 19 positive patients in the state has also decreased.
