North-Eastern states Assam and Meghalaya are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall for the next five days till July 2.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday announced that some states including Assam and Meghalaya will experience heavy to very heavy rainfall.
States Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall on June 30 and July 1.
The department has also predicted heavy rainfall at isolated places over Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Bihar, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Konkan, Goa and Telangana.

“Isolated extremely falls also likely over Assam & Meghalaya during 28th-30th and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim on 30th June & 01st July, 2021.” the department further informed.

Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds (speed 30-40 kph) are also very likely at isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura among other states, the department stated.
