In a major operation against the bike theft gangs, the Dudhnoi police in Goalpara district seized a total of 53 stolen two-wheelers in the last 10 days and arrested a total of 23 members of an inter-state bike theft gang.
Besides that, a fake District Transport Office (DTO) was also busted, where fake number plates and fake chassis numbers were provided.
In the meanwhile, appreciating the Goalpara police, DGP Assam Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta took to Twitter saying, “This is a very good example of fine policing.
