A barrage of rockets struck densely populated parts of Afghanistan capital Kabul killing at least eight people and injuring several.
Blaming the Taliban for the attack, interior ministry spokesman Tariq Arian said “The terrorists fired 23 rockets on the city of Kabul. Based on the initial information, eight people were martyred, and 31 others were wounded.”
The rockets were targeted into the heavily fortified Green Zone of Kabul where many embassies and international firms are based.
Meanwhile, no group has claimed responsibility for the blasts and the Taliban also denied responsibility.
