A Qatar Airways Flight from Delhi to Doha made an emergency landing in Karachi in Pakistan due to technical causes. It was carrying 100 passengers.
“Due to indication of smoke in the cargo hold” the flight QR579 landed safely in Karachi.
The Qatar Airways apologized for the inconvenience caused. Another flight has been arranged to carry the passengers to Doha. The incident is under further investigation.
“The incident is underneath investigation and an aid flight is being organized to move passengers onwards to Doha. We apologize for inconvenience to our passengers who can be assisted with their onward journey plans”, stated the Qatar Airways.
