New Delhi: With the Chinese military not disengaging in Depsang plains and Gogra after multiple rounds of military talks, top Indian political and military leaders are scheduled to meet on Monday.
According to reports, Chinese troops have been camping in the Indian strategic locations for three months now and reportedly have started constructing bunkers in the area.
“Top political leadership along with the military leaders are scheduled to discuss the strategy to deal with the ongoing situation in the Eastern Ladakh sector where the Chinese had transgressed into multiple locations,” said a government official.
The agenda of the discussion is likely to be on the plan of action to deal with Chinese rigidity.
The meeting is going to happen after a week the top military leadership of both nations met last at Daulat Beg Oldi.
The ministry of defence recently stated that the Chinese have been showing aggression along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) since April-May timeframe and has transgressed into the Indian areas from Kungrang Nala, Galwan valley, and other areas.
Earlier on June 15, the Indian Army was engaged in a faceoff with the Chinese troops in Galwan valley which resulted in the martyrdom of 20 Indian soldiers.
