On Tuesday, a much awaited inquiry took place in China to find out the origins of the coronavirus pandemic but it resulted in no solid findings. Theories that said that the virus came from a lab or were transmitted from animals to humans were eliminated by the investigators of the World Health Organisation (WHO).
While China was delaying the WHO investigation, the USA demanded vigorous inquiry into the origins of the pandemic which began in 2019, and China bursting with a signal not to politicise the inquiry.
Liang Wannian, head of the Chinese contingent of an inquiry carried out together with World Health Organisation, said that there was no trace that the sickness was spreading in Wuhan before December 2019.
The virus has now killed more than 2.3 million people all over the globe but investigators are struggling to find the origins of the virus.
