Pakistan : No-Trust Vote Against Imran Khan Finally Rejected : Election in 3 Months

No-confidence motion against the Prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has been finally dismissed by the deputy speaker of the National Assembly on Sunday.

“The people should decide what they want, not foreigners. Buying people through money has resulted in this. Put that money in something better. I implore the nation to prepare for elections. You will decide the future of this nation, not the corrupt or the foreigners”, said Imran Khan addressing to the Nation.

It is also mentioned that the opposition front in Pakistan will stage a sit-in at the National Assembly till the no-trust vote against the Imran Khan government is held.

Imran Khan on Sunday called for fresh elections shortly after a no confidence motion against him was rejected in the National Assembly over “security concerns”.

“I have written to the president to dissolve the assemblies. There should be elections in a democratic way. I call upon the people of Pakistan to prepare for polls”, said the Prime Minister.

“I congratulate every Pakistani on the speaker’s decision. The no-confidence motion was a foreign conspiracy against us. Pakistan should decide who should govern them,” Imran Khan added in his latest address to the Nation.

On the other hand after the unexpected move in the National Assembly, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari from the opposition tweeted, “Government has violated constitution. did not allow voting on no confidence motion. The united opposition is not leaving parliament. Our lawyers are on their way to Supreme Court. We call on ALL institutions to protect, uphold, defend & implement the constitution of Pakistan.
