The longest ruling monarch of Britain, Queen Elizabeth II passed away on Thursday at Balmoral Castle.

“The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow,” the Royal Family tweeted.

Elizabeth II (born Elizabeth Alexandra Mary) was Queen of the United Kingdom and of 14 other sovereign countries from 6 February 1952 until her death.
