Russia would consider gas transit through Ukraine after 2024, says RIA

As long as European nations continue to want Russian gas transit and Ukraine’s national transit system is functional, Russia will consider continuing to send gas to Europe via Ukraine. The current agreement expires in 2024.

Regarding the impact of the Ukrainian missile strike on Russian-controlled territory in the Kherson region, Ukraine and Russia disagreed. According to a report, the Ukrainian military claimed that an attack on Nova Kakhovka in the Kherson region resulted in the deaths of 52 people. In contrast, according to the town’s Russian-installed administration, at least seven people were killed, and about 70 were injured.

In related news, Ukrainian, Russian, and Turkish delegations are scheduled to meet with UN representatives on Wednesday to examine the possibility of reaching an agreement to resume grain exports from Ukraine from the Odessa port.
