A suspected drone down seen by the BSF (Border Security Force) was shot. The drone was seen along the International Border in Punjab’s Firozabad sector was shot down. The drone carrying more than 4 kgs of suspected contraband. The model of the drone is DJI Matrice 300 RTX.
According to the BSF spokesperson a humming sound was detected in the 3 A.M. They illuminated the area with “para-bomb” to aim at the drone.
A small green coloured bag that contained 4 packets of yellow wrappings and one small packet in black packing was attached to the drone. The contraband item weighed 4.17 kgs and the black packet weighed 250 grams. BSF recovered suspected heroin and opium.
