Supporters of United States Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday forced their way into the US Capitol causing chaos.
On Wednesday, lawmakers were in a meeting at the US Capitol to certify Joe Biden as the winner of the November 3 elections.
The former President refused to concede his loss to the Democratic President-elect Joe Biden and has been urging his supporters to come to Washington to state a rally on the day the US House of Representatives and Senate were scheduled to certify Joe Biden as the next US President.
Earlier, Trump urged his supporters and also wrote on Twitter, “Statistically impossible to have lost the 2020 Election. Big protest in DC on January 6th. Be there, will be wild.”
This message was later removed by Twitter after the chaos in US Capitol.
However, the Former President soon took a U-Turn after the situation at US Capitol turned violent. Taking to Twitter, Trump wrote, “Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!”

The violence that forced lawmakers to flee the US Capitol resulted in the death of four people. Among them, a woman was shot by the police.
