The United Kingdom International Secretary Elizabeth Truss is likely to visit India on March 31. Truss will attend a talk with the Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to deepen strategic ties in key sectors such as defence, trade and health.
Truss’ visit will be an opportunity to further deepen the partnership across various sectors like trade, science and technology, innovation, defence, climate, education and health.
Ms Truss’ visit will be an opportunity to review the “Roadmap 2030” launched during the virtual summit between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his UK counterpart Boris Johnson earlier this year.
She would also participate in the inaugural edition of the India-UK Strategic Future Forum, a track 1.5 Dialogue between the two countries hosted by Indian Council of World Affairs and policy Exchange, UK.
