Vincent McMahon was born in Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA on August 24, 1945 and is known as the Father of Pro Wrestling in the World because of the company he owns, known as WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment). Vincent McMohan is debuted in the company then known as WWF (World Wrestling Federation), which his father owned as a commentator, in 1969. He has been on the news lines for the past two decades as the most notorious and competitive person. Taking full ownership of the company from his father, Mr. Vincent Jess McMahon, in 1982, he led WWE to new heights, transforming it from one of the many territories operating throughout the United States into the world’s most powerful professional wrestling promotion.
Apart from his role as an executive, Mr. McMahon has also served as an in-ring talent during the boom period of WWE’s “Attitude Era” from the late 1990s to early 2000s. All of his family members, including his wife, Linda Edwards (married in 1966) and his two children, Stephanie and Shane McMahon, are all part of his WWE team. He has a very illustrious career and is the root cause of building and breaking many superstars’ lives, including that of The Undertaker, John Cena, Ric Flair, and the list goes on. The development of the annual Wrestle-mania has become one of the most successful professional wrestling events in the world. With this, the era of professional wrestling began, and now it has reached a new high with all the gratitude and efforts made by Mr. Vince Kennedy McMahon.

At age 77, Mr. McMahon has retired as the Chairman and CEO of WWE. He says throughout these years, it has been his privilege to help WWE bring the audience joy and inspire, thrill, surprise them, and most importantly, entertain them. This was his favourite hobby or passion. He also thanks all his family members and superstars from the past and the current lot, and also the employees working in his company for their utmost dedication and passion for the upliftment of the brand and making WWE what it is today. Lastly, he thanks the WWE Universe and the fans for allowing the brand on their TV channels and also for being the choice of entertainment.
Vincent McMohan gave his full authority to his son-in-law, Mr. Paul Levesque (Triple H), as the new chairman of the company, and his daughter, Stephanie McMahon, as the CEO. Despite stepping down from the executive roles, McMahon will remain in charge of the creative decisions for the on-screen product.
Vincent McMahon will always be the most prominent and proficient promoter in the history of professional wrestling.
But things are complicated for the professional old man post-retirement, as in last month, the wrestling entertainment company announced that it would revise its financial statements going back to 2019 to account for $14.6 million of “certain payments” that McMahon made while chairman and CEO should have been recorded as expenses. That was three days after McMahon said he was retiring from WWE which he announced amid an ongoing investigation by the company’s board into allegations that he paid millions of dollars in hush money to multiple women to keep quiet about affairs and other misconduct.
