International Desk: The Pandemic called COVID 19 set new norms for society as well as the world as a whole. It did not differentiate nor did it discriminate in making people suffer although a certain class of people had to suffer more due to economic crisis.
The head of the World Health Organisation says he hopes the world can end the coronavirus pandemic in less than two years.
‘The world can end the coronavirus pandemic in less than two years’, hoped Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, head of the World Health Organisation (WHO).
“We hope to finish this pandemic less than two years, especially if we can pool our efforts,” he said during a press briefing on Friday.

WHO’s emergencies chief Dr. Michael Ryan noted that the 1918 pandemic hit the globe in three distinct waves and that the second wave, which stars during the fall of 1918, was the most devastating.
