United Nations (U.N.) Health Chief on Friday proclaimed that the positive development of COVID-19 vaccine trials indicates that the world “can establish the dream about the end of the pandemic”.
The World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus during the address to the U.N. General Assembly cautioned that the COVID virus & pandemic can be stopped, but the path ahead still remains treacherous.
He also said,” the rich and powerful nations must not flatten the poor nations in the stampede for the vaccine. The pandemic has shown humanity the worst scenarios, the virus spread and its thrives, the self-interest of people and also the best scenarios of feats in science and innovation, health warming demonstration of solidarity, self-sacrifices of people.”
