The conflict between Russia- Ukraine took a new turn. The World’s largest Cargo plane made in Ukraine named Mriya is destroyed by the Russian forces. The Ukrainian made World’s largest cargo plane Antonov-225 Mriya was damaged in attack by Russian forces on Hostomel airport near Kyiv.
Mriya which means ‘dream’ in Ukraine is destroyed. The aircraft ‘Mriya’ got burnt after the Russian troops opened fire at Antonov airspace located in Hostomel town in Ukraine. On the other hand Russia has not confirmed publicly about the attacks in Ukraine’s airport.
The world’s largest plane that could transport upto 250 metric tons of cargo at a speed of upto 850 kilometer per hour was a symbol of hope in the Covid-19 pandemic as it is used to carry vaccine and PPE around the globe.
“Russia may have destroyed our Mriya. But they will never be able to destroy our dream of a strong, free and democratic European state. We shall prevail!”, said The Foreign Minister of Ukraine.
