Kamrup Metro District Commissioner on Saturday organized an important meeting with the Bihu Committee members and function organizers.
The Kamrup (M) DC expressed his concern about the increase in the number of people suffering from Covid-19 in the state.
Many important decisions were taken during the meeting with the Bihu function organizers.
Few are:
• Every Bihu celebration site will be monitored by Assam Police.
• Fine of Rs. 1000 will be imposed on person not wearing mask.
• Audiences will be checked for temperature during entry.
• It is mandatory for all Bihu programs to be concluded by 11 pm sharp.
