Kamrup Metro makes hand-stamp mandatory

Hand-stamp mandatory

To break the chain of infection, the district administration has come up with some special measures for the coming next 10 days.

The Kamrup Metro administration has decided, all people undergoing RT-PCR tests will be stamped on their hands. They will have to stay back at their homes until their test results are out.

An awareness meeting on COVID-19 will be conducted with the members of the Lane-Bylane Samiti, Apartment’s Society, Citizens’ Association, etc. in six COVID hot spot zones of the Kamrup metro district.

However, the Assam government on Friday announced a new SOP that exempting people with complete vaccination from Covid screening at airports and railway stations has been “withdrawn” and such clinical examinations at these places will continue.
