Filmmaker and producer Karan Johar has an announcement to share. After revealing that he is getting back to direction after 5 years, Karan has now acquired the rights of a romantic Malayalam movie, Hridayam.
The film will be remade in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Karan Johar took to his official Twitter handle to share the good news. Both Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios have acquired the rights of Hridayam.
On the work front, Karan Johar is returning to direction after a period of 5 years. He is going to helm Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which will feature Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.
The film is slated for release in 2023 and is being touted as one of the highly anticipated movies of next year.
Meanwhile, Karan Johar’s movie, Brahmastra, is finally going to see the light of the day on September 9, 2022.
The movie will mark Ranbir Kapoor’s first professional collaboration with his GF Alia Bhatt. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the movie is going to also feature Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Dimple Kapadia and Nagarjuna.
