Improving Rural Infrastructure
• Approval to sanction of 958 crores to upgrade 114 road-cum-embarkments and construction of 6 rural bridges in Bajali, Baksa, Biswanath, Bongaigaon, Cachar, Charaideo, Darrang, Dibrugarh, Goalpara, Golaghat, Hailakandi, Jorhat, Kamrup, Kamrup (M), Karbi Anglong, Karimganj, Kokrajhar, Lakhimpur, Majuli, Morigaon, Nagaon, Nalbari, Sivsagar, Sonitpur, South Salmara- Mankachar and Tinsukia districts.
Upgrading Vital Roads
• 1,031 cr approved to improve
• Kokrajhar to Rupsi Airport Road
• Gohpur- Dholpur road via Ghagrabasti road from Kokchabari to Hawajan
• Dirakgate to Penegree road from Dirakgate to Bijulibon
• Rowta to Misamari road (Rowta to Kanakata section)
• Rowta to Misamari road ( Kanakata to Phuloguri section)
Tamulpur Medical College and Hospital
• 450 crores approved for construction of new Medical College and Hospital in Tamulpur district.
Land Rights to Underprivileged
• Settlement of land to 103 financially weak families of Mariani town via realization of premium on a par with Guwahati Metropolitan Area.
Elections in Silchar Municipal Commission to hold elections in Silchar Municipality as a Municipal Corporation after delimitation
Cachar DC to submit a proposal for expansion and delimitation at the earliest
Improving Administrative Efficiency
• Approval to review of Assam Rules of Executive Business-1968 to improve administrative efficiency and governance
Expansion of Jorhat Airport
• 156 crores for the acquisition of 124 bighas 14.92 lessa private land to facilitate expansion to Jorhat (Rowriah) Airport by the Airports Authority of India (AAI)
Panel to Finalise State Emblem
• Constituted a Cabinet Committee headed by Ministers Dr. Ranoj Pegu and Shri Keshab Mahanta for finalization of State Emblem to create a distinctive symbol that will signify and visually represent Assam.
PM Gati Shakti
• A high-level task force will be constituted to oversee the proper implementation of PM Gati Shakti
