The State government has a reshuffle in the various portfolios. A notification has been issued, additional chief secretary Paban Kumar Borthakur has been given charge of the chairman of the Assam Administrative Tribunal.
Meanwhile, IAS Amitabh Rajkhowa will be in the charge of the Labour Commissioner. Also, Nira Gogoi Sonowal, IAS officer, has been transferred and directed to take over the charge as the Regional Commissioner of the Barak Valley.
However, retired IAS officer VS Bhaskar has been newly appointed as the Resident Representative of the Assam Bhawan, Hyderabad.
