The Education Minister, Ranoj Pegu on Wednesday said that the Education Department has put forward a proposal to Colleges and Universities to increase 20% seats for degree admissions.
All degree colleges have been asked to consider increasing seats by 20% and also start day and evening shifts to accommodate more students.
Meanwhile, the education minister also made an announcement that the admissions for HS 1st year (class 11) will happen completely online and through AHSEC’s web portal.
