In a sensational incident, a group of miscreants reportedly opened fire at former ULFA leader Subhash Barman at Golakganj area of Dhubri district in Assam.
The incident occurred on Tuesday night when Barman was returning home and a group of four unidentified miscreants allegedly shot him injuring his hand.
The miscreants even managed to take away Barman’s motorcycle which he was riding.
According to reports, the miscreants attacked the former ULFA leader due to dispute over money.
Meanwhile, police have initiated an investigation regarding the matter.
The identities of the miscreants are yet to be ascertained.
