Manipur’s Moreh city, situated along the Indo-Myanmar border, became a hotbed of Moreh protests on Wednesday as the bodies of two Indians killed by Myanmar rebels have not been returned so far.
On Wednesday, hundreds of angry mobs cordoned off the Police Station on the Indo-Myanmar border. They demanded the police bring back the bodies soon as Myanmar authorities did not give any importance to the return of the bodies to the families of P Mohan and M Ayana.
On the other hand, after police and army forces were deployed to control the angry mob, enraged border residents this time crossed the international border near Moreh and pelted stones at the Myanmar army post.
