In January 2018, Case No. 23/2018 u/s 326/307/120 (B) IPC R/W SEC. 25 (1-A)/27 Arms Act was registered at Bharulumukh PS; as one Tribhuban Gupta, a businessman of Athgaon had been shot at his business premises, injuring him seriously.
Aditya Singh @ Niraj Singh, a named main accused in the crime was picked up by Muzzafarpur Police in Bihar for their case in Mithanpura PS.
After coordinating with Bihar Police Station, a team of West Guwahati Police District was sent to Muzaffarpur on 22.08.2021 and the accused was brought to Guwahati today.
