Twelve civilians were injured in a grenade attack by militants on a team of security force personnel in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
According to a police official, the incident took place in the Kakapora area of Pulwama.
He informed that the grenade missed the intended target and exploded on the road.
Twelve civilians sustained splinter injuries in the explosion and they were taken to a nearby hospital, the official added.
The area has been cordoned off and a hunt has been launched to nab the attackers.
