‘Let’s go to Delhi’ campaign was launched by the farmers’ organization against the Modi government’s enactment of the Agriculture Act.

More than 3 lakh farmers are involved in the campaign. Defendant farmers from various states like Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, etc. are being barricaded by the police.

In any case, the administration has taken steps to prevent the protesting farmers from entering Delhi. As the farmers’ movement intensified, the police threw tear gas on protesting farmers.

However, the peasant movement gained momentum, housands of peasants joined the movement one after the other turning it into a massive movement. The movement has already turned violent Clashes have broken out between the protesters and the security forces.

The Modi government, which has so far arrested 100 farmers, enforced Section 144 in Haryana and this has shocked the entire country.
