Jay Kishore Pradhan, a 64-year-old retired banker who hails Bargarh in Orissa has cracked the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and now enrolled as a first-year MBBS student.
Pradhan appeared for the NEET exam, which does not have an upper age limit. He secured a good rank and qualified for the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) in Sambalpur, Orissa.
“I want to complete the course and serve the needy,” Jay Kishore Pradhan, who is likely to be 70 by the time his course is completed, said.
