On Tuesday, police informed that a joint effort of Punjab and Uttar Pradesh police team has arrested an abettor of pro-Khalistan terrorists.
According to sources, Jagdev Singh aka Jagga was arrested on Monday from Vikas Nagar area of the Uttar Pradesh.
Jagga is linked to pro-Khalistan terrorists Paramjit Singh Pammah and Maltani Singh , former is currently in the United Kingdom and the latter is in Germany. They both are charged with carrying out anti-national activities in Punjab and efforts to encourage terror, hurt religious sentiments and harm peace.
Police mentioned that Paramjit and Maltani were supposedly preparing Jagdev Singh to perform anti-national activities and funds provided by them. He along with his supporter Jagroop Singh bought guns and cartridges from Madhya Pradesh.
The Punjab Police had arrested Jagroop on Sunday.
