The Central Railways on September 4 had started to run special trains from September 4. The 23 special trains are for aspirants taking National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) exams. All the special trains will run till September 6.
The Central Railways in a release on Friday stated that they will run fully reserved special trains for the candidates. The Central Railways have urged the passengers to adhere to the Centre’s norms and SOPs related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The special trains will be for the defence exam aspirants from Bihar, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. All the seats on these trains will be only for students. Students boarding these trains will follow all the COVID-19 protocols and precautions. They must maintain social distancing norms, wear masks, and use sanitizers.
For the students of Mumbai, the Railway Ministry have also started Special train services. Now, the students can easily travel to their exam centers in special suburban trains. The Indian Railways had also recently extended its support for aspirants by offering Special Trains for JEE, NEET, aspirants.
Eight special intercity trains will also run from September 4 to September 15 in Bihar. 4 special trains will run in Rajasthan till September 15. Meanwhile, 5 special trains will run in Uttar Pradesh till September 30.
