Congress leaders along with Rahul Gandhi came on street and staged protest against the Central Government. The leaders of Congress staged protest on Thursday at Vijay Chawk in Delhi against the rise in gasoline costs throuought the nation.
The price of petrol in Guwahati is 101.67 Rs./litre while in Telengana it rose to 115.47 Rs./litre. In Maharashtra the price is 114.62 and in the Capital city the price is 101 Rs/litre. The price of diesel rose in Guwahati upto 87.59 Rs./litre.
Senior Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Mallikarjun Kharge and Abhishek Singhvi additionally participated in the protest holding placards with slogans reading “Rollback gasoline worth hike”.
The leaders has been determined to launch a nationwide program “Mehngai Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” throughout the nation from March 31 to April 7.
