1,028 new positive cases of Covid 19 were registered in the state on Wednesday. With this, the number of Covid cases in the state has increased to 719,920 and the death toll has increased to 6,499. Currently, 15,178 cases are active. The positivity rate is 3.08.
It may be mentioned that the highest number of 254 people were found in Kamrup city. After that, 61 people were found in Lakhimpur, 48 people were found dead in Kamrup rural, and 46 in Goalpara.
On the other hand, 7 people died in Kamrup city, 2 each in Darang, Dibrugarh, Golaghat, and 1 each in Bongaigaon, Kachar, Kamrup Rural, Karimganj.
The current rate of recovery in the state is 96.80 percent. On the other hand, 415,09,970 people have been provided the Covid vaccine so far.
