National: India on August 13 achieved another peak of highest-ever single day recoveries. The total number of recoveries counted 56,383 in a single day. With this number, the total recovered COVID-19 patients have touched nearly 17 Lakh on August 13. The total COVID-19 patients recovered till now is 16,95,982.
The concerted, focused efforts of the Centre have ensured the successful implementation. The States and UT governments have also ensured the fruitful implementation. Moreover, the support of lakhs of frontline workers have ensured the successful implementation of TESTING aggressively. TRACKING comprehensively & TREATING efficiently done through an array of measures. It includes supervised home isolation and effective clinical management of severe and critical patients. This is done through the Standard of Care advised by the Centre.
With the increasing number of recoveries, the Recovery Rate has crossed 70 percent. On August 13, the Recovery Rate is 70.77 percent. Case Mortality among COVID-19 patients has further regressed to 1.96 percent. The Case Mortality of COVID-19 is steadily declining.
The high record recoveries have ensured that the actual caseload of the country which is the Active Cases has reduced. Presently, there is only 27.27 percent of the total positive cases. The recoveries exceed the active cases by more than 10 Lakh. To date, the total number of Active cases in India is 6,53,622.
