Voice of Hind Case : ISIS Targets Youths launching Recruitment : Charge Sheet Against Two

A charge sheet filed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) against two ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) operatives to radicalize and recruit Muslim youths in India to wage violent jihad against the Indian state. The name of the ISIS terrorists against whom the charge sheet filed are Afshan Parvaiz Jarabi and Tawheed Latief Sofi.
Both the terrorist were the residents of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir.

The charge sheet filed in “Voice of Hind Case” details how a conspiracy was hatched by ISIS. In the charge sheet the NIA mentioned that an “organized campaign was launched over the cyberspace supplemented by on-ground terror financing activities”.

Parwaiz who was one the accused was also associated with Af-Pak (Afghanistan-Pakistan) based ISIS operatives and was actively involved recruitment for ISIS. On the other hand Tawheed was involved in content editing and poster creation for ISIS propaganda magazine “Voice of Hind”.

It is also mentioned that the ISIS propaganda magazine “Voice of Hind” was designed by few graduates. Last year the NIA arrested three people for allegedly being involved in a “conspiracy” to recruit youths in India to join ISIS for a “violent jihad against the State”.
