Petrol and Diesel Prices Rise Again, How Much Has it Increased?

Prices of petrol and diesel continued its rise across the country and reached new highs on Monday. In the national capital, petrol price was hiked by 26 paise and the price of diesel rose by 29 paise.

Following the hike, petrol is now valued at Rs. 88.99 a litre in New Delhi while the price of diesel stands at Rs. 79.35 per litre. Meanwhile, in Mumbai, the rates for petrol and diesel are Rs. 95.46 and Rs. 86.34 respectively.

It is noteworthy that in the Sri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan, petrol prices have almost touched the century mark at Rs. 99.56 per litre and diesel jumped to Rs. 91.48 per litre which is the highest retail price of auto fuels across the country.

The petrol and diesel prices in Guwahati, Assam on Monday stand at Rs 86.02 and Rs 80.11 per litre respectively.
